Large is an independent studio for creative consultancy and design.

La Gaîté Lyrique regularly invites artists to imagine and deploy immersive environments within its walls. We unfold specific outputs to highlight their artistic practices through the general identity framework we have set up. In the last years of our collaboration with La Gaîté Lyrique, we were brought to develop custom outputs for the hybrid digital images developed by Canadian artist Sabrina Ratté; the playful inflatable installation of London-based multidisciplinary artist Nelly Ben Hayoun; the interactive patterns of Adrien M & Claire B; the light & colours experiments of collective Visual System and of French artist Olivier Ratsi.

In 2022 La Gaîté Lyrique celebrated its 10th+1 birthday with a 3-day long special event entitled “This is not a F%/ing Museum!”, referring to the hybrid and plural status of the institution. We teamed up with artist and photographer Hubert Crabières to conceive the identity of the event : a green-screen fantasy of balloons, confetti and sparkling make-up, blurring the lines between digital and physical world.
